GRAYSTONE TOWER BANK AGAIN NAMED A BEST PLACE TO WORK IN PENNSYLVANIA

Graystone Tower Bank has once again been named one of the Best Places to Work in PA for 2010. The awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first statewide programs of its kind in the country. The program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and the Central Penn Business Journal.

Graystone Tower Bank will be recognized at the Best Places to Work in PA evening awards ceremony on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA. GRAYSTONE TOWER BANK CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES $30,000 FOR LOCAL NON-PROFIT AGENCIES

Graystone Tower Bank recently hosted their 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Colonial Golf and Tennis Club in Linglestown, Pennsylvania, More than 140 golfers teed off at the annual event, which raised $30,000 in proceeds to benefit four local not-for-profit organizations: Drug Free PA, HOPE International, PA Breast Cancer Coalition, and PIAA.

"It is an honor to be able to present such a significant donation to the recipient organizations that continue to make a positive impact in the lives of others throughout our communities and beyond," said Andrew Samuel, chairman and CEO of Tower Bancorp, Inc. LINGLESTOWN BRANCH HOSTING FAMILY PROMISE
BENEFIT YARD SALE

The Linglestown Branch is hosting a yard sale Saturday, October 2nd from 8 am to 1 pm. The branch is accepting clothing, kitchen accessories, and small furniture item donations. The donations are tax deductible and will benefit the Family Promise organization. Family Promise is a non profit organization opening in October of 2010. Family Promise offers assistance to homeless families with children in the Central PA area. The yard sale will be a free will donation, rather then individually priced items. All funds raised will be matched by Thrivent Financial.

GRAYSTONE BANK EMPLOYEES PEDAL FOR A GOOD CAUSE

A team of Graystone Bank employees hit the street and put the pedal to metal during the United Way Capitol Region's 14th Annual Trike Race.

The speedy, four-member race crew from Graystone Bank earned a second place finish at the annual three-wheeled competition that helps raise awareness for the United Way's annual campaign. More than thirty Graystone Bank employees showed their support and spirit at the event, earning the Entourage Award, which is given to the team with the best presence and most team spirit. Graystone Bank was one of twenty three organizations to participate in this year's tricycle race held in downtown Harrisburg.

The United Way of the Capitol Region is a non-profit organization that is committed identifying and addressing community needs in an effort to build a stronger community.

GRANITE RUN OFFICE HOSTS YARD SALE AND BAKE SALE

On Saturday, May 15th, the Granite Run office hosted a community yard sale and bake sale. All proceeds from the day's event were donated to Mom's House, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing day care to single parents, allowing parents to continue their education.

DILLSBURG BRANCH NOW OPEN

Graystone Bank representatives along with local community members were on hand to celebrate the opening of Graystone Bank's thirteenth location. Dillsburg Mayor, Henry Snyder, welcomed the crowd and introduced Jewel Cooper, senior retail executive of Graystone Bank. Following the ribbon cutting, Graystone Bank presented a check in the amount of $250 the Citizens Hose Company. “Citizens Hose Company plays a prominent role in keeping our community safe,” said Jewel Cooper. “We know the men and women of this organization do a remarkable job responding to calls in the community and we are pleased to give them our support.” The new Dillsburg branch is conveniently located inside the Giant store at 830 US Route 15 in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. The hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. An onsite ATM is available 24/7.

FDIC DEPOSIT INSURANCE COVERAGE INFORMATION

On July 1, 2010, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act made permanent the current standard maximum deposit insurance amount of $250,000. That coverage limit applies per depositor, per insured depository institution for each account ownership category and is retroactive to January 1, 2008.
